Academy For Career Development

“The Academy for Career Development (The Academy) was founded specifically to respond to the digital divide needs of a growing population of disabled and disadvantaged children, youth, and adults in the greater Rochester, New York region. Functioning as both a licensed Business school and a Community Based Organization, the Academy has formed strong partnerships with local government, neighborhood organizations, and churches to build and support a network of community technology learning centers, whose primary focus is to provide information access and a variety of educational programs for their local underserved populations.

Working together with our community, our students, and our educational partners, we strive to provide progressive learning environments that help prepare our students not only  to survive but also to succeed in a contemporary and competitive information-based society.”
